I love the looseness of this. I am not experienced enough to help re the arm but if you go to the forum there is a thread under exhibitions etc called "invitation to view" and here you can direct users to your gallery for comments and help. I think at the weekends there are less people using the site and your picture may go off the gallery too fast for helpful comments. hope this helps

The arm is too long It can not be that farback, and still have the hand positioned where it is. Try putting on a shirt, and looking in the mirror as you assume this pose. You will see that the"Elbow" and "shoulder locations are forward. To correct the existing piece, I suggest Painting Out the bulge to the back. This will visually shorten the arm, and will diminish the awkwardness.

Thank you for advices, Norah and Skylar. These are really helpful.i tried paint 3 tmes this one. However, i couln't make it. This left arm is absolutely difficult, becasue the light is coming from almost from front size of him. If the light had been coming from his left, it would have been much easier. To paint photos sometimes make me mad. Thanks again. I accept any comments.

Apart from the arm positioning, the rest of this painting is perfection Midori, love the gold coloured coffee jug
