The brook in Ham woods

That is lovely Michael. I can’t say I know what a catalyst wedge is though.

Smashing Michae, like it a lot

Lovely application of impasto layers. I also like the atmospheric feel of the piece.

Thank you for your very nice comments! The catalyst wedge is made of silicone and I got mine from Jackson’s 😊

The painting really stands out, so much movement.

Very attractive painting. Fresh and calming to view.

A very expressive painting with great treatment of light Michael.

That is beautifully effective. Whatever that wedge is, it’s helped create that wonderful water surface

I painted this oil on board from one of my watercolours in Ham woods after watching a demo by Belinda Reynell, where I learned about mixing wax with oil paint. As well as a palette knife, I used a catalyst wedge which helped with the flat water.
