A mixed-media picture based on a friends photo (with a lot of liberties taken!) Thankfully, my friend also provided me with a french newspaper which helped enormously with the collage element. This painting has now been sold, but I am completing more of these mixed-media paintings all the time, as well as doing workshops in this style of working.
