Full of texture and energy. I like it.

Thank you Michelle for your many comments today on my various works! I've enjoyed seeing your watercolours today - especially those that have that 'loose and experimental' style!

I agree, lovely texture to the rocks, great palette as well

Thanks Ros. Strangely enough, the palette (acrylics) was mainly the colours that I use for life painting - cerulean blue, raw sienna and rose pink with the darks made from Pthalo blue and venetian red.

Stunning work, love the vitality, the atmosphere and the composition of the piece,

Solid and powerful with great textures too. Like it very much.

Thank you Seok and Fiona, I would like to reproduce this scene in watercolour but I don't have the touch that you both possess, much easier to slap the acrylic on with a palette knife - correcting mistakes as I go!

Love the colours in the rocks Michael!

Thank you Sarah, that's one of the best things about painting - using colours the way you like them, and not necessarily how they appear! I enjoyed looking through your portfolios and see that like me you belong to an art club which means that you get the opportunity to have a go at everything - and I look forward to seeing more of your 'abstract' style!

Another lovely painting with lots of texture and great composition
