Instantly knew this was your work without checking. Yet another fabulous example of pastel work. Everything about it is topnotch - the pose, the emotion, the angles and expressions, use of dark and light. Wonderful!

Wow thank you so much Heather - that’s put a spring in my step today!!

So recognisable as one of yours Michele in its superb quality. A great pose that describes exactly what you say. Hopefully not much longer! I just love it all but keep looking at the dog’s coat and his fur- amazing.

Thank you thank you Christine - my son misses his dog Bobby so very much!!

I can only agree with Heather and Christine, superb work as always Michele and skill of the highest order.

Thank you so very much Russell! I really appreciate it!!

I can’t say I have despaired in lockdown. Just made the most of it and produced more artwork. But this is brilliant. Excellent work as always.

Thank you Linda - me too although I’ve found this particular lockdown very difficult to deal with emotionally hence this piece. I appreciate your comments.

Thank you so much Diane!!

Pastels on 11 x 12” anthracite pastelmat. Having moved just over a week ago and feeling very settled already I have been itching to get back to my pastels to finish off this new piece. I’ve been wanting to try and capture this particular feeling of utter despair with the current lockdown situation and how one day simply melds into another and hope this piece resonates with you all! I hope you’re all doing well - hang on in their we’re nearly there!
