The first Flight over Mount Everest by Michael Russell
The first flight over Mount Everest was on April 3 1933. Two modified Westland PV-3 aircraft were flown by British pilots at an altitude of31,000 feet( 9400 metres)The aircraft were only a mere 100feet above the summit!
