I'm guessing that this is showing up as a lot more minimalist than intended.......

Those jagged sharp clifftops surely are not all so sharp and would have a ground falling away however steep they are. Don't know the location but IMHO you need to be more observant with that sort of thing Micael.
You are getting there keep at it.

My first comment was made because there was no image at all on my screen - just a grey rectangle. The painting is now shown on my system!
I see, and agree with, Derek's point. However, this bypasses all of the good things here. This is a dramatic scene, because of the high viewpoint, which makes the perspective tricky - but I think you've got it spot on. It feels open, airy and very natural in its depiction. The palette you've chosen appeals to me - the drama is in the perspective, so it doesn't need overstated use of colour.
I particularly like your treatment of the foreground in the bottom right. (not so much "fore" ground,as the elevated viewpoint makes it clear this is some distance away). Great use of well-judged intermingling colours. I guess the vertical white strokes, which I interpret as birch trunks, are made by squeezing the paper, possibly with the "wrong" end of the brush. Whatever, the effect works very well indeed for me.
And I do like the sky!

Thankyou Bill. What I've been doing on a lot of these is focusing on some aspects that I want to improve at and experiment on and forgoing others. Any comments appreciated.
