Brilliant Michael. You have it all here ,exactly how drawings should be. You have caught the moment in a nicely observed sketch , so much better than a photo. Photos have their place and I use my camera a lot. But your sketch will bring back far more memories .

I agree with Sylvia, it is such a lovely way to remember a special moment. I always take my sketchbook, pencils etc with me on holiday but I am ashamed to say rarely do more than a couple of pages! Full of good intentions though!

Posting this following a discussion in the forum. It's taken at random from a diary I keep which is used mainly on holiday but also on days out etc. I keep a record of what I have been up to and includes thumbnail sketches made at the time. They are quickly drawn to capture the essence of the scene - rarely do they ever take more than about 5mins or so. This one done at Costa Adeje.
