Another super piece Michael, I think you should start working on some Christmassy scenes, I can just imagine them with a Christmas tree and a sprinkling of snow on those rustic buildings.

Another charming little piece Michael. This one has a remote feel to it, like an outpost. Have you thought of a lighthouse. I took some pictures of one on holiday.

Thank you both - yes great idea - will do a couple of winter scenes. have thought about a lighthouse but so far none of the found pieces of wood I have gathered have been suitable.

I look at bits of wood lying around outside with new eyes now Michael and I expect that I'm not alone after seeing all these wonderful sculptures of yours ! The base on this one is a beauty. Also, the background is better here as there's a defined line suggesting a bit of a hilly slope. I wouldn't have even mentioned backgrounds had I not liked the sculpture so much in the first place. I'm just glad that you agreed with me :)

Thanks L, S, and S. Half the fun is the excitement of picking a piece of splintered wood and seeing the potential - it can be like finding gold.

The first thing I noticed was the base, it is of an exceptionally beautiful colour Michael. Of course the little house is lovely as always and I hope it finds a good home soon.
