Ahah , don't forget to cut the holes for your eyes Michael 😋 Love the turbo sledge!

Really enjoying this series, Michael!

I wear a wig and dark glasses to go to Lidl! Cheap biscuits there. Great cartoon!

He looks somewhat deflated Michael! I park in the Waitrose car park, spend £5 to get my free newspaper, coffee and parking and cross the road to Lidl to get the weekly shop.

Is that sled carrying your supply of biscuits? As the battle continues, I look forward to this cartoon jousting between you and Ivan. All good stuff.

Thanks all. Christine we are kindred spirits - we do exactly the same except its Aldi next to Waitrose in our town. The difference between the two is price verses customer service - I am afraid price usually wins so it's Aldi for all the main stuff !!!

We're a canny lot, us pensioners!

Also, have just seen one of Aldi's Christmas adverts which is a cheeky spoof parodying this years John Lewis man on the moon ad which possibly you've seen as there was so much talk about it. Apparently the John Lewis one cost a fortune to make and now Aldi has done this copy. They are very clever and their digestives are good as well..LOL

Still can't understand why they find it necessary to leave piles of empty boxes in the aisles blocking them - it takes no longer to clear them if you do it straight away. Oh - and Lidl's Muesli in blue packets is the best on the market - another tip from POL

Oh Michael I think got it wrong! Silly old woman😳! The puff of smoke isn't smoke its air from his flat tyre. Now I feel a right twerp.

There's never an AA man around when you want one is there, never mind, it's only flat at the bottom! We use both Aldi and Waitrose too - we buy from Waitrose what we can't get at Aldi. Between the two, I have to say that I love Waitrose the best.

This is super, Michael!
