nice one Michael I like it ,,,,.lovely design it is well ballanced and a good design ,,no matter how great a painting is ,if the ballance and design are not there .it falls apart.. what do you think Michael.? take care Alan

Love this, Michael! It has a lovely, sunny atmosphere and I really like the way you distilled the shapes - sufficient detail, spontaneous and free, yet not oversimplified.

Spent a couple of happy hours sketching and photographing this interesting subject a few nights back. Did this quick (about half an hour) pen (well ink applied with a stick) and wash painting before doing a tighter more traditional version of the subject - don't usually like to post more than one at a time but in this instance I am doing so - the other version follows........
