Absolutely love this, Michael! I totally agree with you that cartooning should be taken seriously, because they really distill the essence of the subject, and that's the hardest part of all. Thank you too for your comment on my painting.

Another cartoon from the ones I am currently compiling. As I've said before cartoons are the poor relations of the art world - to my mind they every much a part of art as any other form. Creativity is the mastery of simplicity and what better fom is there of simplification than cartoons? So, banging the drum,, it's about time we took cartoons seriously !!!
