Do youhave a ready supply Michael of mounts and frames. ?? I like your quirky bird cage, could also be a blancmange, ! ! You did do it whilst listening to the proms, you admitted that , you also 'doodled" So cage/blancmange..is the Pope a Catholic. Sorry , I have had a long day.

Hi Sylvia - yes I do have a supply of mounts already cut for 12 by 12 ins and for 10 by 10 ins along with a few frames in both sizes. I do all these scribbles/doodles, whatever, on off-cuts of mountboard and if they look OK I cut them out and float mount them in the ready-cut mounts, Usually I work on reduced line drawings such as the teapot (my last posting in this gallery) which I then strengthen with ink in the studio but in this case it was more of a doodle so I decided to leave it as such as I didn't think strengthening the linework would add anything and might even spoil it. Hope you had a good nights sleep.

I love all your little drawings they are very effective. Do you have a gallery as they must sell like hot cakes.

Looks great me; and so effective with the lovely mount. Agree about the multiple postings and one bloke seems to repost ALL his work every year !!!!(ps Thanks for your comment.)

Beautiful little cage, did you design it? or copy from one. It makes a lovely picture.

Nice doodle. I wish that my doodles were as effective :)

Very nicely done, Michael, in your usual clean, precise yet very tasteful style. And notwithstanding that it's now on page 31, it still stands out!

A bit of fun scribble while watching the Proms - popped it in a mock-up fame to see if it would work and here it is - seems OK - what do you think? It'll probably be on about page 12 by the morning with all the multi-posters !!
