Very good pencil drawing Michael. I think often work in pencil is ignored by many people but I think they can be worthy of display, as this is. By the way, I looked in the window of a local framer / small gallery yesterday and he had a number of small works framed in the way you have framed your drawings, with a double mount, with a black frame. They looked super, as I am sure yours do.

I always like to see drawings, preparatory works or work in its own right - this could stand as either. This has a unity thanks to the composition and the hatching you've employed - and is certainly good enough to frame and present as a work in itself.

Very interesting to see this stage of your work, Michael and as has already been said it will be good to see the finished watercolour. Do you also take a photo or do you choose colours to fit what you remember?

Fabulous gallery, hope to do more drawing myself...might even try charcoal...well I could try!
