Hi Michael , that's lovely and totally different ... Thanks a lot for the comment on my flower painting its 17 inches by 12 and I use a four inch double mount around all my watercolours

Thank you Dermot and Dennis. Dermot - that's interesting - I am tending away from double mounts but probably more out of laziness than anything.

Thanks to you all. Fiona - no salt but I do use watercolour granulation and watercolour texture mediums which I apply with a pipette (one of the advantages of having worked for the NHS - sshh don't tell anyone!)
