Thankyou cesare. The surface of the canvas is very bumpy unfortunately since it has been much used. I have to admit im not a big fan of impasto and use it only when im experimenting. This landscape was more dingy before but with the help of just one final pure white thin glaze i managed to infuse more light into the picture.
