Love it - what is the medium and technique? Reminds me of the work of Maurice Sapiro - I particularly like the texture. In my opinion this works better than your more multi coloured pieces because it has a greater unity which allows the viewer to focus on the composition and values which are really interesting.

I agree totally with Guy, Michael - the texture is beautiful and makes the painting really attractive.

It is painted in oils. I started by using a multi-coloured layer which i blended and smoothed. I needed it to be flat. Then i used scumbling and impasto to create a more three dimensional effect in certain areas. Thankyou for the comments.
