this is a large canvas painted over many times. heres the latest image ive painted on it. its good to get back into landscape after a day of experimentation with the human face. i like to paint pictures which make me feel good as im painting them. experimentation is good but as human beings we all like to see pleasant images full of light and colour. at least most of us. my aim will continue to be pictures similar to bierstadt even though he as a painter has suffered alot of criticism. i personally cant find fault in his work.
