Portrait of a man by Michael Hanrahan

I share your view on Oldman's Dracula - this is a strong painting too

I do like this lighter version of this man, it kind of opens the view point of his eyes

A great portrait Michael, suitably fitting for the period of time.

I also am aware of the painting in the film bram stoker's dracula which featured this painting , well the composition at least with the features of gary Oldman replacing durer. I love that film and all things dracula , vampires and gothic horror in general. Also halloween is just round the corner. But the story of dracula as created by Gary Oldman in his interpretation is a tragic one . A love story par excellence.
