Very lovely sketch Mia! I like the white left around the trees for highlights. The coffee is a great colour for this:)

Lovely Mia, I think it has turned out great, the coffee was a great idea and adds some tone to the sketch

Lovely sketch, Mia.

Nice to see you posting again Mia, this has worked well.

Lovely to see you posting again Mia. I love this sketch, the reflections are great using the coffee. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work soon.

Tastes good Mia. Great affect.

Thank you all so very much for your positive comments. It is great to see that my work is still appreciated. Because I still can't sit for very long, I use the simpliest materials and just do some sketches (coffee is always at hand!). Maybe in a few days (when the snooker on the tv is finished) I try to make a watercolour.

How nice to see your work again Mia. Hope you're well and not over doing your coffee consumption although after seeing this lovely pen and coffee wash drawing perhaps you'll be stocking up with a few more jars :) It's a super drawing and those different shades/strengths of coffee brown colour work perfectly. Good composition as well with all the 'action' on the left side. Keep posting. I missed you and I'm pretty sure other pol users feel the same :)

Super sketch Mia - you achieve so much with such simple means. Looking forward to seeing one of your watercolours soon!

Thank you Louise, Glennis and Sharon for your encouraging comments. Look out for the watercolour, it already is in my mind. Just need to get it on paper (lol).

That's really effective Mia a lovely piece of work

Thank you very much, Dermot. I appreciate.

Great drawing and subtle colour work

Thank you Derek for your positive comment.

A quick sketch using a Stabilo point 88 marker (watersoluble and not lightfast). Then I gave it a wash with clear water and added some "colour" with Nescafé, less or more diluted. Thank you for having a look and telling me what you think of it.
