Confident drawing, Mia. Very delicate!

A beautiful drawing Mia

Beautiful as always Mia

Thank you very much to all of you. I really enjoyed painting the evolution of that beautiful lonely rose.

Lovely Mia and so poignant.

I agree, they are beautiful and delicate Mia.

Many thanks Janet and Alan. Your comments are always highly appreciated.

Love your shadow colours Mia, such delicacy.

Thank you very much, Carole. It is the first time I used this combination: cobalt blue and cadmium red. I am very pleased with the result. Must try it with ultramarine blue and cadm. red.

The last one to go before the new start, can’t wait for the spring to arrive. Beautiful drawing Mia!

Thank you very much Jennifer for you encouraging comment.

Many thanks Satu. All comments are always highly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your nice comment, Dermot.

Hi Mia , thank you for your kind comments on my latest , the size is 16 inches wide by 12 high I nearly always paint this size and my framer surrounds them with a 4 inch double mount which makes for a big finished piece Have a great Saturday

Thanks Dermot and Sarah. Dermot, I always ask the size of the works because then I can juge the amount of detail. Your explanation is very interesting. I used to work on that size but now I prefer A4 for my flower paintings :)

I rally like your style of painting Mia, its so gentle and clean. A pleasure to look at !

My winter rose is fading very slowly... The snow last week didn't do it any good, so... I did the drawing with an Artline marker and just used fading limited colours for the flower. I kept the banches of the rose-tree in a mix of shadow colour: cobalt blue and cadmium red. Size A4. All comments (as usual) very welcome :)
