This scene was inspired by the view from my kitchen window in Oulart, Co.Wexford, Ireland. I sketched the scene in pen and decided to try it on canvas in the colour combination of light blues and browns. I painted it with scrapers, plastic knives, pallet knives and cloths as well as brushes to add texture. The dimensions of the painting are H50xW60xD1.5cm
