Nice work there Megan and that's the way I did a lot of early work, from books and stuff. Still do as matter ofr fact and I use images posted by people in here often. Good source of material as long as you give them credit and a mention.

This is after a Jonathan Newey painting in a book of his on drawing and painting buildings, although this was an exercise for me in painting water reflections and ripples. Not too happy with the hard line on the right hand side caused by the dark shadow in the water, but once it was done, it was done! Size 9" x 12".
