Watercolour on quarter Imperial Saunders paper, done this morning on site in Crane Park, sitting next to the Shot Tower. Mixed weather; lots of dog walkers. Painting done after two quick sketches to decide on the cropping of the view. No pencil, a little pen and some watercolour pencils too so perhaps mixed media would be a better description?

Watercolourist since the 90's, and have just taken up oils a couple of years ago. I regularly paint en plein air with a local group called the Artful Dodgers, and aim to paint at least twice a week now I'm heading for retirement.
