Dramatic, eerie, full of energy...great colours ! Love it!

Great colours very dramatic!!!

Very Halloween! I can well believe the bit about the pagan worship. Bold and adventurous work.

The 12th century parish church of Linton, St Michael and All Angels, is named after St Michael, the guardian against the dragon of heathenism. Most churches dedicated to this saint are built on hills - Linton is unique because it's built on a bend of the River Wharfe near Grassington, deep in the Yorkshire Dales. Some believe that the site was originally a place of pagan worship. Certainly it's thought that a Christian place of worship has existed here since the 5th century. Acrylic on canvas. 50cm x 50cm.
