It started life as a watercolour but it's a most punishing medium and rather than throw it away I got the pastels out. I love mountains but I'm getting to that time that it kills walking up them but sitting on Blaven looking across at the scary Cullin that morning with Richard and my dog Zac paid millions into the soul.
