I painted this copy of The Accolade by the great Edmund Blair Leighton when I finished my illustration degree-as a sort of 'apprentice piece'. After years of using markers and gouache,I wanted to use oils for a change.The painting is approximately 24 x 35 inches and I donated it to my sister and her family.
