20 min Self Portrait by Mark Pennifold

You should get together with Louise (who has just posted her first go at a self-portrait just before you). She looks the vamp and you look cool and enigmatic - a winning combination don't you agree? Could be a beautiful friendship! Quick portraits are really hard and if you did this in 20 mins then I take my hat off to you.

It was done certainly in 20 mins give or take a couple of minutes. I have drawn people lots and especially cartoons but was happy with this quick effort. I hadn't realised I had exuded a mysterious quality....slip of the brush. ;-) I think with more time and practice I could put out a better effort. Also I think I have aged myself a bit. I'm younger than that. No really...... :-)

I think you can learn a lot from setting a time limit, I know I have, stops all the faffing about, and caution goes out the window! As for your portrait I really like it!
