Wonderful Venice's scene, Mark.

Very impressive.

I really like this Mark, beautiful.

This is great, Mark. A real eye-catcher, beautifully done.

Your waters alive. It's wonderful.

Love this Mark

I really like the elongated view here Mark and how you’ve left the painting drifting from the edges of your paper. You have achieved that looseness you’re looking for, and the whole thing is excellent. If you’re looking for criticism, sorry can’t oblige!

I feel I have turned another corner with this painting, it is what I set out to achieve. Thank you so much for all your comments, I particularly like Jennifer’s “ Your water is alive”, that made me chuckle. 🤓

Wow! That is so fresh and striking - great image, Mark

And like the elongated view and faded out edges.

Lovely atmosphere, love the way you paint water.

Lovely scene and painting

Super scene Mark, not surprised you are happy with it,

I sat and sketched on the Riva del Vin looking across to the southerly bank of the Grand Canal and sketched a sliver of the view, this painting is entirely based on that sketch. Painted in watercolour on St Cuthbert's Millford paper.
