Lovely pastel Marjorie, a nice view from your window. I tried my hand at pastel again yesterday but had to put it in the bin it was sooooo bad.

All I see is a shed.....don't fancy painting that .nice pastels Marjorie.

Internet was off so posting again - thanks Margaret, peter and Dennis - as regards the shed, We have to keep an eye on the river, it's tidal, but we now have a nice new flood wall but it hasn't been tested yet!

Lovely how the tree stands out Marjorie.

Like the colours used, delicately done scene. Very nice.

I don't know anything about pastels Marjorie, (Too scared to use them) but this a lovely painting, and aren't you lucky to have a river in your garden!! I'm dead jealous !

I can't see a shed - a tree, a river and background foliage. It's a good view anyway.

Thanks Carole and Andre. Bob, I don't have a river in the garden, this is at the front of the house and I'm looking down on it - don't think I got the perspective right! Derek - no she'd, Peter ( above) has that! I meant that my drawback is the risk of flooding.

I love the variety in the greens never easy I like it it's a pretty good view to have

View from the room where I paint ( or should do ). A rather too pernickety pastel on sludgy green paper but the colours are near enough.
