Certainly it does, Marjorie! Great subject, love allotments!

Aha, you've only just posted this, so I'm not too late. Now I'm really confused, I thought it was about emotion?

Well Lewis, I've lost the will to live....no....I'll try this again, it was meant to convey a sunny morning and all that feeling it has on you - didn't work...back to the drawing board.

This is lovely Marjorie, I love pastel work. I will have a look at this challenge tomorrow, I'm not sure I understand it mind you. Perhaps I'm thick!.

Lovely work Marjorie, there's nothing like being in the garden for inspiration and feeling the want for painting when you see everything around you growing, colours, textures and even bins and water buts, all add to the never ending challenges. 😀

It gives a feeling of calm and chilling out. Its brill.

You are all so lovely and kind😊

I certainly feel the warmth Marjorie, it’s mellow and laid back.....exactly how you would feel on a warm summers morning in one of the best places on earth......the garden! It’s a great challenge.

I like the texture of the paper and unusual subject Marjorie.

Two happy waterbutts ....course it’s emotive...Haven’t had time yet , I am sorry hopefully tomorrow.

The thing is Sylvia, an emotive painting only comes when you're in the mood - no hurry.

A sunny morning and that feeling of work to be done in the allotment!

Hello again Louise! Oh, you're very kind!

I think it is a great image which because of the medium is full of soft focus and the rough surface has brought to life the texture of the bricks and the highlights.

Thankyou, have a go?

I like it Marjorie! It is a sunny piece.

It certainly gives me an impression of happiness with your cheerful colours Marjorie.

Thanks again Sandra. Looking at it again it reminds me of two old pals leaning on each other.

The allotment this morning. Straight in with the pastels. Does it convey a sunny morning? Mmm, will try again I think.
