Beautiful glass dish, the headache paid off!

I love to paint glass too' the reflections are a real challenge and you've certainly risen to this challenge. It's lovely.

Well, you can certainly paint glass! Having struggled with this subject myself, I've looked closely at yours to see how it's done! Would you mind telling me if the white areas are just the white paper or have you added a little white paint/ink or a combination of the two? This is lovely, as is the 'olives and daisies' painting. Well done. You've cracked it, the technique, not the glass (lol)

Thank you all for the kind remarks. Louise, I can tell you I left MOST of the paper white, but by the end of the work found I needed a small touch of gouache here and there to improve the sharpness of some edges, especially on the very small white areas. Do keep up the struggle - I am still (I hope) improving - and some of my earlier efforts I would never expose to public view!!
