Can't believe this is coloured pencil. As Val says, it looks like an oil. It's really well done.How big is it ?

Thanks for all the comments. Kate, it is about 15" by 7". The reason it looks like oil paint is the layering technique I use combined with a small amount of solvent. I learnt the idea from an artist called Aloyna Nickelsen who does amazing work with coloured pencil. She has a web site where you can see some of her work and methods.
