Thank you for your comments. It was my first picture using water based oils and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love doing architectural type things

I am struck by a radiance, the warm glow of sunlight on light stone, i think you have caught very well the essence of the masonry.

Agree with all of the above - great. I'd like to be able to get that feeling and atmosphere in my stuff but all that happens is that I put in too much detail - that comes of having been a draughtsman earlier in my life -maybe it's not too lat to change!
