Great job Marianne, I to had not really used pastels nor done wildlife until I did one of Vic's worshops.

With all my animal and bird paintings I always strive to achieve the 'life' within the eyes, you have certainly done that, a lovely painting. :-)

One thing I have learned is that with an animal portrait you have to get the eyes right. Attending several of Vic Bearcroft's workshops has helped me enormously to understand 'highlights' and 'reflected' light. Thank you for your comments Marianne
