Terrific Margaret. I think all three paintings are great. Why didn't you put them in the same portfolio?

Hi Andy Sorry, I am new to this. (plus blonde :)) I will try a bit of experimenting with this and hopefully get the hang of it. Thank you for your advice and lovely comment. Most appreciated! Rgds M

It's I that should apologise. I didn't realise you were new to the gallery. I should have told you that when you log in & go to My Gallery, you click on "edit". then on the portfolio details page you click "next." Your portfolio thumbnails then appear. Scroll down & find & click the "add" button. Then continue as normal. You must have already worked this out for yourself. The advantage of this is that long after your paintings disappear from the gallery, when a new one is posted in this portfolio, your thumbnails also appear. It gives people a chance to look again & possibly comment. This is why it's best to add one at a time & leave a few days or weeks in between. I don't understand why you haven't had more comments. Please don't be discouraged. I for one will be looking out for your postings.

Andy, you are so kind and I thank you for your advice on posting new pics. It took me a while to work out how to get all of the still life paintings together under 1 portfolio. You would think that I would have been better at doing this as I did my own website. I have been looking at the fabulous pieces that other artist have posted and I am amazed at the skill that some of these artists have. Thank you for your encouragement and I will be looking for your posts too.

You can look up my gallery if you wish. in "Gallery" at the bottom of each page of thumbnails in blue, you will see Browse All Portfolios. Click on this & a page of portfolio thumbnails comes up. There is a search box at the top. If you put in Andy H, my portfolio will come up. Mine is Andy H, you will see another Andy Hudson this is NOT me. This can be handy when people comment on your paintings you can sometimes look them up. Sometimes you cant find them.

I found how to do that the other day and posted some comments on your work. I really love your style and notice that you seem to have a penchant for illustrative work and I am amazed at the detail. My favorite is Girl with pearl.Well done!

Oil on box canvas 400 x 400 This still life was set up for me as a challenge and I loved the ride. I feel that we do need new challenges from time to time to push us out of our comfort zones.
