Like it very much - a lovely colour -smashing candle. Very well done Margaret

Surprised you didn't get more comment on this one - because it is lovely. Thanks for your comments on the Degas Margaret, yes, I do draw a faint outline. I cannot grid anything. I find the middle of the page divide in four and then go from there. If I have anything that is complicated then, I put the main area in relation to the photograph and then way up what is next to where. If it is a landscape scene oil I wade straight in no drawing - same with acrylic - I might draw it and then find I have lost it when I start painting (that's fun). Watercolour I do a faint outline. I love pen and wash because then you can see the lines which I love. I am painting an oil scene at the moment - no drawing. Happy painting Jeannette x PS how is the weather - it's cold here but garden looks lovely.

weigh up not way up - can't spell. Love Jeannette

I just see this one. Love it! So peaceful.

Hello again ! :-) Good to see you still progressing with all - and exploring - tell me have you considered writing your own stories and illustrating them? I feel sure that with your imagination and skills in the paintings you must have an equally vivid imagination for possibly children's books? Its a very hard world to break into but who knows and for your own personal interest? Possibly you may use a traditional Hebridean folk story you like? But am sure you could do your own? Just a thought - Peter
