Very delicate painting. What medium is it?

Hi Nora and Karin, Thank you. It is all oil paint - 90x60cm. The background is a thick mixture of white and blue (pruisian blue is my favourite) spread with a thin, long metal knife, wait patiently until it is completely dry and than spread the red over a white layer for the leaves of the flowers. It took me several efforts to work out what colorcombination works best. My own invention, but maybe it is done this way all over the place, I never had any lessons:-). Groetjes, Marcel
