Lovely palette, superb reflections, another stunning watercolour. (Unlike my afternoons attempt at a landscape in watercolour, Castle Stalker, a complete and utter failure LOL )

I really like that Manus. The water's particularly effective with the change as it comes over the weir. and the tree's are also very well handled.

Val Have you posted Castle Stalker - I have tried painting it twice - Should be esy but I always seem to get the scale wrong Think it must be because it is a small castle / keep in a huge landscape Will dig out the photos of my paintings and post them soon. The actual paintings are in the rejects drawer somewhere. Manus

Hang on Studio Wall

I haven't posted anything for some time as I have spent the last year converting my garage into a very comfortable studio and gallery but now that it is up and running I hope to be in full production this winter During this time though I have been able to spend time sketching and gathering material for new works. This painting was completed with 2 others last week for the Dundee Art Society Autumn Winter Exhibition - yes it feels like winter here with first snow last week. I think I might do a bigger version as it could stand being twice this size.
