A beautiful watercolour Manus, and great that you're capturing in paint buildings of the past before they rot away - looking forward to seeing some of them soon.

Truly beautiful, Manus, every brush stroke of it. A subject which strikes a chord in many people's memories of good days, going and sometimes, sadly, gone. Thank you for your comments on my work, much appreciated.

A very successfull watercolour, I particularly like the softly handled trees surrounding the very nicely painted focal point of the farm buildings. Being ultra critical, perhaps the right hand fence is leading the eye directly to the bottom right hand corner of the painting? Its always easier to spot things in other peoples work and not with your own! Why is that?

Thanks everybody Stephen you are right about the right hand fence. I don't mind it coming from / to the RH corner but I noticed that it is in too straight a line as I was posting the painting. I had never noticed that before. I think I need to bring the RH grass into the track a little to break up/ soften the straightness of line and perhaps lean one or two of the posts inwards. Always room for improvement in every picture provided it doen't become to fiddly
