It must be wonderful to work on such a large painting like this and it looks fantastic. Plenty of action and detail to look at. It really is a super painting.

Thank you for your kind comments, Denise, Heather, Paul, and Fiona I painted three huge paintings for him, and then stopped, the turps odour in the living room was overpowering.

A friend of mine owns six large Marriage venues and ask if i would paint some large paintings for them, he liked Peninsula Wars type subjects, so i searched through books and found what i thought he would like, i emailed him and said " What about this geezer on the horse" he phoned and was laughing and said that's perfect, it now hangs in the mansion and the brass plaque reads, Geezer On The Horse by Trev Goodwin, Oil on homemade canvas.
