this is a beautiful watercolour! I love the houses and wonder did you mask the white areas or paint them with white gouache? Your "Stoneygill" painting is also wonderful ! You are very talented.

Like Louise , I love this picture too

This I would be happy to hang on my wall...love the clarity of it.

Plus Rowland Hilder, I think, also.

Great watercolour , Terrific gallery, from the cool of the mountains to the warmth of the charming farm house you carried me with you.

I know this spot well, and love it. Have walked up Great Gable in the mist relying only on the Cairns, so it's a marvellous treat to see such clarity here. Very well done, lovely work.

Wonderful array of colour - and superbly drawn. I'd also be interested in the masking fluid question - I'd guess you didn't use it. I know this is only of interest to the anoraks amongst us, but then - I am one.

I never use masking fluid, I can paint around the reserved whites or i paint the whole paper with a textured wash and lift out the the whites with a 1/2 synthetic flat brush. I use bockingford 200lb paper which i find easy to lift out compared to arches or saunders waterford. Hope this is of some help.

I love your work and aspire to paint like this.
