It’s a real shame when lives and history come to an end....sad to bear witness to, enduring all that they must have, to keep going. It’s a great sketch and gives the impression of a decay and abandonment. Like your accompanying narratives to your paintings and sketches.

Thank you so much Fiona your comments mean a lot as you seem to think along the same lines as myself but also they are always constructive, as for my narratives I think they are a hangover from my days of leading groups on the hills when I believed folk should know and understand about what they are seeing, thanks once again.

This work is based on a farm near were I live on which the family had lived for many many years but age etc. had meant they could no longer farm and it is going the of so many farms nowadays sadly.
