Thanks once again Carole, coming from you these and the others are compliments indeed. The area in question is an amazing area and the 5 Sisters can be a good day or a very serious day out in winter depending on the conditions, but if clear, oh what views.

Thanks Fiona, I think explaining about the paintings comes naturally the same as when I introduced people to the hills I always believed they should know about the places they were in, gives things a soul.

This little painting shows part of the 5 Sisters range from the tops on what was a very cold day, I did start out trying this En plein air but that did not last long and finished it when we got back down to base that night so at least the feelings were still raw, in more ways than one :)))
