My favourite place, go whenever I can. Lovely and cold can hear the wind whistling through the dale.

Oh I DO like this! Just the sort of scene that most appeals to me - you can sense the strength and mass of the stone and rock, and that's not easy to accomplish in watercolour.

When you walk up Cave Dale you can see the Tower of the ruined castle above the edge and on this winters day being built from the local stone it blended in with the landscape.
