Distinguished ladies, who might quarrel with your title, but one suspects they'd be gently forgiving and pass it off as the inevitable result of human frailty. Very calming painting. And well composed.

While out on my bicycle in the Cambridgeshire fens, I spotted these lovely ladies who seemed to be discussing the ways of the world while sitting on a bank enjoying the sunshine. I just felt they needed to be painted, but I only had my camera to capture this special moment. However back at the studio a drawing was completed then out came the Oils for several days. Size is 60cm x 60cm. My choice of support varies, but this is on prepared MDF panel. I generally work with a limited pallet of three to four colours.
