That's just glorious, Marilyn. Marvelous technique, and what wonderful color. You say you've used Faber Castell PITT pens, obviously in color...I've not tried these, are the waterproof?

Very effective portrait. Her hair is very intricate- the colours and design remind me of Gustav Klimt. Lovely.

I use zentangle just when I'm doodling like on the phone etc but after seeing this brilliant piece I can see I shall have to take it far more seriously. Stunning work.

Thank you so much Val. Apparently doodling is what you do when you’re concentrating on something else - The Zen factor in Zentangle is because it is done concentrating solely on the patterns themselves.
