The Sentinels by Mairead Patton

Was this influenced by Peter Wolley ?. I like the range of subdued greens, what do you use for your greens ? Sorry about all the questions but I have a view similar to this from my back garden and have never been able to capture it in the way you have with this scene.

Thanks for your comments. I have not used any tube greens in the painting. All my greens are made from mixing primaries. Mostly ultramarine / yellow ochre and cobalt blue and either lemon yellow or cadmium yellow. The picture looks more green than it actually is because the photocopying machine seemes to drain all the blues.

I've just had a look at Peter Wooley's work and no I wasn't influenced by him but I'll certainly have a closer look at him in the future. Thanks for the tip.
