Well done you! I think you've made a very good job of it and your trees are very nice as well. Never be afraid of using enough pigment. Watercolour dries so much lighter that you almost have to scare yourself with the intensity of the colour when you are actually applying the paint. Blues particularly dry back by about 50% - so you can go for it with them. On the building, it might help to make it a little more 3D if you applied a line of shadow just under the eaves - I'm always amazed what a difference this makes to a painting. You could go back in and darken the red of the door to add a little more oomph - but all in all I am amazed at how well you have done on your first attempt. Keep going - look forward to seeing more from you.

This was my very first painting of a building. Its a bit pale because I was terrified of using too much colour. The shadows of the trees were fun to do but I had to return to the cafe several times before there actually was a day that was sunny enough to produce shadows.
