This was a move from drawing a composition on a canvas to just painting directly onto the canvas, inspired by repeats of Bob Ross in the lockdowns. It is a rework of an earlier work of a sunset over Compton Bay on the Isle of Wight, though not intended to be of that place, more of a test of wet on wet with large brushes.
